Let's Book in your Autumn Photography Experience!

Being a small family business and the only photographer involved my time is limited and I can only book a finite number into my day. This is especially true at this time of year as Autumn is a short window to shoot in and therefore any unused slots are wasted.

I’m very fortunate to have wonderful clients who are considerate but I have had a few no shows over the years so that’s the purpose of this booking fee. It’s fully refundable at the Viewing and Ordering Appointment or can just be applied as studio credit to your invoice if you prefer.

If you are unable to make the agreed appointment then please let me know and as long as I’ve been given 48 hours notice, I can reschedule and you will not forfeit this booking fee.

Please don’t worry as I have been working with families for over 10 years and had children with lots of different personality types. I always send out a form to fill out for you to provide information like this but I’m often told a child is shy but then I seem to get them comfortable and messing around with me in no time. I seem to have a gift doing this. I’m good at thinking on my feet and will adapt to what you and your family need to give you all the best experience while capturing images you will treasure forever!

Absolutely! Even before we had this Covid-19 pandemic, the safety of your family has always been important to me. With Covid-19, I have become even more careful making sure I follow all UK guidance and in some cases go that little bit further to make sure both your family and myself are safe.

I wear a mask or visor to protect us both when necessary. When possible and providing it is safe to do so, I will try not to wear a mask when I need to give your child(ren) instructions but I will be at least 2 meters away from any of you when I do this. My wife is in the at risk category therefore for my family’s safety I always make sure that I would never put myself or your family at risk.

Although I have a wonderful purpose-built viewing room, unfortunately at the moment I am not running viewing and ordering appointments in person but instead virtually using Zoom. I’ve been doing this through lockdown and it still works now.

Yes, yes and…. did I say yes??? After all my shoots I ask clients to describe their photography experience in three words. The most common ones are

• Fun
• Friendly
• Professional

This will not change as it’s just who I am. Of course, I’ll be careful and professional but that won't stop me being fun, friendly, and sometimes a little silly.

These are very strange times and I understand that things can change quickly from one day to the next. Should a Covid-19 incident mean that you are unable to make your appointment please be confident that you will be offered an opportunity to reschedule or get a refund if you prefer.

As we are outdoors, you will not be required to wear a mask however I would recommend you bring one as there will be situations when I need to wear my mask and would recommend you do so as well.

I understand that illness can happen at short notice and as a father I know how easily the little ones pick up bugs! Please just give me as much notice as possible as sometimes I can fill slots last minute from a waiting list.

After we’ve had your fun photography experience I’ll be going through all the images and pick out the awesome ones, which I sprinkle with a little bit of digital magic to make them the best they can be. I put these into a wonderful animation slideshow to music for you to enjoy at the start of your Viewing and Ordering appointment (please note that as the moment due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these are happening virtually on zoom).

Your Viewing and Ordering appointment is an opportunity for you and your loved ones to view the best images from your photography experience. And remember, this doesn’t just have to be for those who were actually at the photography experience but for anyone who would like to see the images. My role is to guide you through all the products we offer and to help you and your family to decide what the best products are for your home and circumstances. I will have samples to show you both on my walls and on the video so I can explain the features of each.

Absolutely not! As detailed above included in your photography experience is a framed 7 inch desk portrait but there is no obligation to purchase any more than this. However I will have some special packages ready for your at your viewing and ordering appointment should you wish to buy a few more photos as Christmas presents.
