Preparations

Once you’ve booked in your photography experience, I will send over a short form to fill in so that I can prepare for your photography experience. This is your chance to tell me of any specific requests you have so I can tailor your photography experience to you. If you don’t know what you want, that’s fine too as I know exactly what to do in order  to capture the perfect images for you! I’ll be sending you instructions on how to find the studio or where to meet as well as some guidelines and helpful information about what to wear (as well as what not to wear).

On the day

Your photography experience is all about fun and enjoying yourself, not about having your photos taken. I know that many adults (myself included) don’t like their photos being taken but all will love spending time with their loved ones - that’s all you have to do on the day. I’ll be leading the way but much of it will be based on what you and your family want to do. I’ll be showing you how to stand, how to pose and where to look but many times (especially with children), these positions are just starting points as there are no hard and fast rules. My aim to capture images that show the real you so really I’m there to guide you and document your experience and show the love between you and your family.

Your Ordering and Viewing appointment

After we’ve had your fun photography experience I’ll be going through all the images and pick out the awesome ones, which I sprinkle with a little bit of digital magic to make them the best they can be. I put these into a wonderful animation slideshow to music for you to enjoy at the start of your Viewing and Ordering appointment (please note that as the moment due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these are happening virtually on zoom).

Your Viewing and Ordering appointment is an opportunity for you and your loved ones to view the best images from your photography experience. And remember, this doesn’t just have to be for those who were actually at the photography experience but for anyone who would like to see the images. My role is to guide you through all the products we offer and to help you and your family to decide what the best products are for your home and circumstances. I will have samples to show you both on my walls and on the video so I can explain the features of each.

Making your memories

Once you have made your decision, I will perfect your chosen images and send them to my professional lab to create your personalised pieces of art. Take a look at the video below to see the process involved in framing as an example.

This usually takes 6-8 weeks to arrive. After it has I check through the products to make sure they are perfect before contacting you to book in a collection.

Then just sit back and enjoy your wonderful family images for years to come! 😀
